Happy Wednesday!
I can not believe that this week is almost over. It seems like time is just flying by. How does that happen? Please someone explain it to me.
September is notoriously a very busy month filled with back to school activities. Sports, dance and piano all start at the same time. Suddenly those lazy days of summer are gone. It's go, go, go.
September is also a big birthday month in our families. Greg has 3 birthdays on his side of the family and I have 2 birthdays and 1 anniversary. It seems that those events always leave me scrambling for cards.
Except this year. This year I sat down and in two evening completed 12 cards. That's right - 12 - cards. Amazing! Want to know my secret.....
I turned to my CTMH Card Confidence Program book titled Wishes, fall in love with cardmaking. This book is amazing. The cards are simply beautiful and inspiring. In Wishes there are card workshops. Card Workshops are a way to knock out a stack of cards in no time. Simply by reading the ingredients list I knew what items I needed. In this case I used 8 pieces of cardstock and 2 B&T papers. Follow the cutting guide, embellish as you wish and viola. 12 cards. 6 designs x 2. A snap. I sat and cut on the first night and assembled on the second. I was amazed. Below are samples of 6 of the cards. The other 6 have been mailed to our loved ones.

I think Wishes is an amazing resource for inspiration, direction, tips and techniques. A resource every card maker should have in their library.
Peace,
